I know quite a few (OR AT LEAST THE ONES THAT SHOW UP) may have seen this coming, but I thought it would be prudent to hear the news from the Commisioner. As you may have seen, there has been a total lack of activity on both shows, even after extending TNT for a week. Of course, there is nothing I can do if members don't give the time of day to the place, but it sucks hard. It is for this reason, that for the time being, we will close LDWA. Keep in mind that it is NOT permanent.
It is a sad shame, seeing as the hours of work that have been put in to this fed are seemingly going to waste. Many a day has been spent organising some of the more intricate details of the site, such as the catchweights idea, the title names and dynamics, the divisions, etc. And for that, I would like to thank a few people.
Cobrita- You have been great as a co-Commissioner. You always knew what to do in terms of storylines and angles, and you help many a person out in shaping their character for VOW, including me. You always put on a great card, pitting like-skilled people against one another, yet still giving people the chance to step up and be counted. You have been a joy to work with, and for that, I thank you.
Vladimir- Eventhough you created this place, you gave myself and Cobrita free rein throughout. I want to thank you for giving me the gig of Commissioner, and I hope that me and Cobrita did justice. You have been an active member, and despite your other commitments (running EVPW), you still pitched in by offering yourself as an opponent to people who were on the end of no showers.
Jake Diamond- He may not be a part of LDWA now, but he was instrumental in creating the systems and catchweights we work off now. He was the original GM here, and did a great job in setting up the early cards.
Yuma- I think this man deserves a mention, being the most active member in LDWA. He always made a promo or an in ring segment to put himself, and other people, over. Not only that, but when I was struggling for time in making MND 9, he happily obliged in making a match card for me(and may I say a great one at that). Great job, bro.
Everyone else who showed up, made promos, and simply contributed to our community, our thanks to you aswell. And to all of the people who came in, then left because they couldn't be bothered clicking their mouse a few times and fighting a match, please.....GTFO. You know who you are.
So, all that is left to say is this. If you are interested in role playing, fighting matches and such, please go to our sister fed, EVPW:
evpw.proboards.com
It is a great community, and you will find many of us on there, fighting our way to the top. Just so you don't get lost, here are a few to look for. Smarky Smark = Ryan Hughes, Cobrita = The Outlaw, Shawn Dreamer = Shawn Dreamer, Jack Speed = NVX. There are others, but I forget.
If anyone wants to add their thoughts to this, please go ahead.
And now, I bid you adieu, for now...
